The world may have gone digital, but I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that we still get a lot of snail mail. And, no matter how many emails we have unopened in our inbox's, they're still not as difficult to manage or overwhelming as a big pile of paper. Don't get me wrong, my OCD kicks in if I have unopened emails, but they don't take over my workspace.
Take 5-10 minutes to designate a bin, basket, tray or type of mail storage that will work for you. Make a commitment to use it everyday and per the NEAT girls, "keep a recycling bin close by to eliminate mail before it even comes in the house." Good advice! We keep our recycle bin in the garage sitting right next to the door to our mudroom. Junk mail doesn't make it through the door. It's not hard, it's habit.
